A change in tax law may give you an additional tax benefit when you contribute to us. Starting in 2026, filers who take the standard deduction can receive an additional tax break for their charitable contributions. Cash gifts of up to an aggregate of $1,000 for single filers or up to $2,000 for those filing jointly can be subtracted from taxable income and reduce their tax burden. In order to qualify for this new “above-the-line” deduction, gifts must go directly to Classical Uprising and must be made in cash (checks, credit cards, etc.) not appreciated assets.  As with all tax matters, you should consult with a professional.
