From gratitude through darkness to hope — A Passion for the Planet is a call to act on behalf of our earthly home. Created by Geoffrey Hudson, A Passion for the Planet fuses science, poetry, and sacred text into a symphony of hope.

Join us before the performance to learn one of the choral movements of Passion for the Planet. During the performance, members of the audience will be invited to sing along.

This performance was made possible, in part, by Hybrid Vigor Music's Momentum Fund, launched in 2024 to accelerate the pace of performances of A Passion for the Planet. The Momentum Fund offers ensembles a 1:1 match, which can be used to cover costs of instrumentalists, soloists, and other musical expenses. It can also be used to develop extra-musical events and activities which enhance the performance of the Passion and connect it with real-world action.

The Momentum Fund’s goal is to create 100 performances of the Passion over the next five years – across the US and internationally, as well. It’s a bold step for a small non-profit. But it’s necessary. The sooner we begin, the more we can achieve. Now is the time.
